Build for Norn tournment
I'm having a hard time trying to defeat Bison. Any good builds for that?
The search returned 2 threads but the links are dead so i decide start a new one.
Thanks in advance.

Actually the thread isn't dead. Guru seems to be a bit slow this morning.
Here's the "official" Norn Tourney thread:
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10193782
And here's the link to the P/W build that I used to do it. Not only will you be able to beat it, but if you're careful you can get a Decisive Victory vs. Magni (i.e. take no damage). Now there are some improvements you can make-[[awe] isn't the best skill to try and daze with as you'd need to combo it. You could drop TNtF for [[technobabble] for more consistant daze, but I haven't tried it (and then replace Awe with something like [[never surrender]).

I went and used ursan on everyone up to magni, then did barbed + maiming spear and killed him at range that way.

If you can change ur proffession to P/D the Ebon Dust Skirmisher does quite nicely. I cleared it first time i tried it without dying, but that was a while back.

What I used was a nice 55 build.
here are the skills:
Quote:
Paragon/Monk (P/Mo)
[1] Protective Spirit
[2] Shielding hands
[3] Shield of Absorbtion
[4] "Dodge This!" (Can be replaced with "Go For The Eyes!" (although it's a bit more stressful.)
[5] Burning Refrain
[6] Optional slot (i usually take barbed spear for the extra degen,Also a good solution is Mending refrain for when you have more then -3 degen on you.)
[7] Balthazar's spirit
[8] Mending
Gear:
Any armor with radiant insignias.
Leadership or Spear mastery headpiece.
5 Superior runes (1 of each and 1 extra for the extra -75 hp)
Attributes:
Healing Prayers: 8
Protection Prayers: 8
Spear Mastery: 10 (+ 1*) + 3
Leadership: 10 (+ 1*) + 3
Any Questions? PM me here or in Guildwars.

Hope that helped

You only need 2 skills to beat magni as a paragon. Seriously.
Bleeding spear and crippling spear. Throw in YMLAD for good measure. Keep him crippled and bleeding, don't get hit and he'll go down eventually.

Ya but with those skills it takes ages to take him down.
My build finishes him off in about 1 min.

Hi, this is what I use in the Norn tournament:
P/W
1. Spear of Fury
2. Barbed spear
3. Burning Spear
4. Burning Shield (or Shield Bash)
5. Sprint
6. Ursan Blessing
7. You Move Like a Dwarf!
8. Glowing Signet
Open combat with YMLaD+SoF > Barbed > Burning > Glowing Signet
Afterwards, it's up to you to either:
1. Kite and repeat opening tacitcs
2. Activate Ursan and charge in
Against Magni:
Open combat with YMLaD+SoF > Barbed > Burning > Glowing Signet, just kite and fire cheap shots, watch when he uses Purge Signet THEN fire YMLaD. Remember Purge Signet's recharge of 20sec! You can also 'lure' him into wasting a Purge Signet by using Sprint>Barbed>Burning
Tip:
Use YMLaD as an interrupt against casters.
